Emerson’s Rosemount division, a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision measurement and control instrumentation for the process industries, has an exciting career opportunity as a Business Systems Analyst / Sr Business Systems Analyst at our Chanhassen, MN location.
Primary job responsibilities will include:
Analyzing, designing and implementing new business systems following IT standards by participating as a team member or as a team leader.
Preparing and/or coordinating input for the requirements definition including user procedures, flowcharts and preliminary report and screen definitions.
Preparing and/or coordinating input for the functional systems design, including final report and screen definition, logical system flow and implementation plans.
Identifying system impact of changes in Rosemount Inc. business, user needs, external business environment (i.e. government regulation) and operating specifications.
Coordinating development efforts with 3rd party vendors.
Participating in testing, user training and result evaluation.
Coordinating and tracking business system change requests.
Providing assistance in support of production business systems.
Minimum Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a 4 year degree in business, engineering or other technical discipline and 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have experience with an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software and business knowledge of Oracle applications, relational databases, JAVA, and SQL. Share Point and web design skills are a plus.
