Smart Pressure Transmitter
 As part of
the Rosemount commitment to continuous improvement, a
new electronics board for the 1151 Smart
Transmitter has been released, delivering new
functionality and improved specifications. The new
electronics has been incorporated into the Rosemount
standard 1151 offering and can be ordered by
simply selecting the Rosemount 1151 Smart
Transmitter. 50:1
Rangeability
The improved 1151 Smart Transmitter can be
ranged down 50:1. The accuracy specification at 50:1 for
range 3-9 DP/GP and range 4-7 HP is:

New Process Variable Units
The improved 1151 Smart Transmitter delivers new
functionality by providing additional process variable
units:

New Device
Description (DD) for Rosemount 1151
Transmitter
The new device description (DD) for the improved
Rosemount 1151 Smart Transmitter is identified in the HART Communicator as "Dev v6, DD v1." The new
DD is included in the memory module of recently ordered
HART Communicators (both 4 MB and 12 MB
options) and in recently ordered spare memory modules.
A customer can check for the new DD by using the
HART Communicator offline menu to view
Rosemount specific device descriptions. Refer to the
HART Communicator manual (P/N 00275-8026-0001)
for more information.
For those communicators that do not include the new
DD, a customer can send their HART
Communicator to a local service/repair center for
loading of the new DD or follow the Easy Upgrade procedures.
Without the new DD, the HART Communicator can proceed
with the currently loaded DD and can still select 50:1
range-down. However, the new process variable units will
not be selectable.
