About the Remote Seals (SOAP) module
The Instrument Toolkit Remote Seal module SOAP (Seal
Ordering and Application Program) is designed to assist in specifying the correct remote
seal system to meet your application requirements.
Whether your application is level, flow, pressure,
density, or interface, SOAP will assist in selecting the transmitter-remote seal system
that is fit for the application. The program will request you input the application
parameters and then will calculate the correct calibration range. Next, the program will
take you through transmitter and remote seal model number selection. Based on the models
selected, the application data, and the technical data available, SOAP will calculate the seal and transmitter-remote
seal system performance.
SOAP uses exclusionary logic to limit the selection of
transmitter and remote seal models which meet the application requirements. The program
will not allow you to select transmitter ranges which do not meet the application span;
remote seal models which do not meet the maximum working pressure; and remote seal fill
fluids which do not meet the temperature and vapor pressure limitations.
