The Model 248 is DIN Form B Compliant. 
What does this mean? 

  • The DIN standard defines how big the transmitter can be by specifying the space limitations of a DIN Form A and DIN Form B connection head.
      
  • Many connection heads only accept transmitters that meet DIN Form B requirements. The BUZ Connection Head shown below is an example of a DIN Form B enclosure.
      
  • Refer to DIN 43 729 for more information.
