fastest possible means of putting a disabled or impaired instrument back on line quickly
and smoothly. The program is designed to anticipate problems and to respond to them with
the right solutions.
The key to the Rapid Response program is our Center. This computerized command
post is your single-point, toll-free contact for all your Rosemount instrument service
needs. It puts the expertise of full-time service personnel at your fingertips. The Center

Transmitter Rapid Repair Guarantees Original Factory Specs Plus Current Upgrades
Rosemount's Rapid Repair program ensures that all repairs to Rosemount's pressure and
temperature transmitters are performed by factory-trained technicians. All repairs are
guaranteed to restore units to original factory performance and to upgrade units to the
most current engineering revision level that is practical.
Rosemount Service Centers offer a 10% credit if we fail to meet the quoted turnaround
time on the following services:
- Recalibration and Diagnostics
- Electronic Repair
- Module Replacement with Calibration
- Full Unit Rebuild
- Remote Seals
- RapidSmart Upgrade with Repair
All Rapid Repair services are covered by a one year warranty. Specific repairs include
new bolts, cleaning of flanges, new electronics as required, new covers, and a thorough
cleaning of the module.
Certified Technicians, Top-Quality Parts and Detailed Procedures
Rosemount Service Centers are staffed by factory-certified repair technicians who
provide repairs incorporating the same products and parts used at our ISO certified
factory. We also follow a number of other prescribed procedures designed to preserve the
integrity of your operation.
- To help you meet OSHA 1910 regulations, Factory Mutual listing is maintained on all
instruments repaired by Rosemount personnel.
- All repair equipment is NIST traceable with resolution and accuracy to provide the
required uncertainty ratios for a Rosemount instrument's stated accuracy.
- All repairs are tracked on a central data base with failure information fed back to
manufacturing for ongoing product improvement. Custom reports can be generated for
specific sites or products to aid in diagnosing product or application problems.
- To assure that you receive the latest engineering revisions and firmware, electronic
boards used in repairs are new, not field modified.
Upgrade to 3051 Discount Program
If you are upgrading from 1151 transmitters to the 3051 you are eligible for an
incremental discount of 10% if you trade in your used 1151 units.

Convenient Parts Support Round-the-Clock
Rosemount's Central Logistics Operation (CLO) is a key element in the company's efforts
to provide customers with the parts they need, when they need them, and with the qualified
service personnel required for proper installation. To carry out its mission to support
Field Service, the CLO:
- Provides emergency parts shipments
- Recovers defective parts
- Provides routine parts replenishing
- Recovers customer parts via an exchange program
- Maintains parts inventory at optimum levels
Easy Customer Access and the Fastest Possible Response
A customer in need of a spare part, at any time, simply calls the Rosemount
Center's toll free line. The Center creates a service order which is electronically
transferred to the CLO. Nearly all requested parts are shipped the same day. However, the
CLO ships to meet a customer's requirements, whatever it takes including:
- Next Flight Out
- Counter to Counter
- Overnight Air
Nationwide Parts Location Capabilities
The CLO maintains on-line visibility with all of Rosemount's 40 service inventory
locations around the country. If a part is not in CLO stock, our staff locates the part in
field inventory, or through a direct line to each Rosemount operating unit. Regardless of
part location, CLO can obtain same day shipment on most requests.
24 Hour, 7 Days a Week Coverage
To accommodate the working day (8 to 5) from coast to coast, the CLO is staffed between
7 A.M. and 7 P.M. CST, Monday through Friday. Outside these hours, staff members are
connected to the Center via a pager. They can immediately respond to you urgent
requests at any timenight times, weekdays, and holidays.
