The Award

Distinguished winners of the Smart Wireless Innovators award will receive an engraved crystal plaque, a check for $2500, and an expenses paid trip to the 2008 Emerson Exchange in Washington D.C. where the award will be presented. Winners have the option of donating the $2500 award to the charity of choice.

Who is Eligible?

This contest is open to users who are employed in the process-related industries. Employees and representatives of Emerson Process Management or other automation suppliers are not eligible. The application must include a self-organizing network using Emerson’s wireless products including a Smart Wireless Gateway and instruments.

Judging

The Smart Wireless Innovators Award winners will be selected base on experience in the following categories:

• Business Results: Any application that has led to improvements, such as reductions in cost, time, or inventory, or increases in output, quality, or sales.
• Most Innovative Use of Smart Wireless technology: Any application that applies wireless technology where a traditional wired approach would be economically or physically impractical.

How to Nominate

Individuals may self-nominate or nominate others for this award through July 31st of 2008.

1. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
2. The winner and application will be recognized and distinguished by announcement at the 2008 Emerson Users Exchange. Customers have the right to review and approve use of their company name and information in this announcement or other media at Exchange prior to use.
3. Customers have the right to review and approve any use beyond Emerson Exchange of their name and information they have submitted for promotion and advertising purposes in any manner and in any media prior to use.
4. Emerson Process Management retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
