DOCUMENTATION UPDATES
Koch Refinery Company - St. Paul, Minnesota

Emerson Process Management updated the documentation of Koch, an upper mid-western petroleum refinery. Process and Instrument Drawings (P&ID's) and Instrument Index were field verified and then updated. The client started converting manual P&ID's to AutoCAD, most of which had not been updated since the refinery was built. Emerson verified the piping, vessels, equipment and instruments in fifteen operating units. Emerson updated the P&ID's on AutoCAD and created an instrument index on Paradox. These projects were completed on schedule and under budget expectations.

• Walk-down pipelines
• Obtain instrument data from instrument and control room
• Mark-up P&IDs and revise on CAD
  
• Input instrument data into Instrument Index
• Check CAD P&IDs
• Review parts of P&IDs with operators and other plant personnel
