EMERSON PROCESS MANAGEMENT- ROSEMOUNT ANALYTICAL HAS THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITY
Rosemount Analytical located in Irvine, California, a Division of Emerson Electric, is a leader in the development and manufacture of Process Analytical Equipment (Liquid Analysis Instruments). We have an immediate need for an Industry Manager to assist in the development and execution of strategies to achieve profitable growth in the global Water Treatment industries. The ideal candidate will have experience working within either the power, food and beverage or life science markets, experience directly or as a consultant or supplier. Familiarity with the construction, principles of operation and applications of electrochemical and amperometric sensors (i.e., pH, chlorine, DO, etc.) for water analysis is required. This position reports through the division Industry Marketing department. The successful candidate will support the sales organization in strategic project pursuits and continuous improvement of their readiness to satisfy the needs of customers. Responsibilities will also include the preparation of one and three year industry specific forecasts, and recommendations for product developments and promotions.
BS Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field. MBA preferred and 5 to 7 years of product development experience and/or inside sales or marketing experience in a technical discipline (preferably instrumentation). Requires strong written and verbal communication skills; must work effectively with teams. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
