Brief Description of Duties / Minimum Requirements: This position is located in Austin, TX and relocation assistance is available. Approximately 10% or less of travel is expected.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1 to 5 years of PM experience / exposure
  • 2-3+ years of Java experience (a working knowledge in Java programming or previous experience with SeeBeyond integration SW)
  • 2-3+ years of SQL server experience or certification
  • 2-3+ years of Oracle FUSION or DBA experience strongly preferred
  • Some prior business analyst experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree

The successful candidate's responsibilities include project planning and coordination of the global EAI projects and their successful deployment. Specific duties include:

  • Interface requirement gathering
  • Development of project plans
  • Developing test scripts and configurations
  • Interface testing
  • Evaluating test results
  • Working with "On and Off-shore" development teams and Division Project Teams
  • Working with the production support and monitoring Teams to resolve issues and problems

The Project Management scope covers both software implementation and system usability. The EAI Project Manager will work as a key member of our EAI World-wide Core Team of experts, gaining and sharing knowledge relating to the successful Integration and deployment of our Emerson Process Management key Business Systems and Applications. The applicant will work closely with other IT hardware and software application and Project Teams.

A minimum of 5 years of IT specific experience is required with 10 years overall related experience. Experience in Project Management as well as, experience with SeeBeyond or other Integration software is a plus but not required. Good oral and written skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to clearly and succinctly define the project requirements. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.

Hours are typically 45 hours per week, with peak periods requiring up to 55 hours per week.
