Brief Description of Duties / Minimum Requirements: This position is located in Austin, Texas and relocation assistance is available. Minimal travel is expected.
Coordinating & completing month-end close activities - including meeting deadlines as assigned; preparing journal entries & other supporting documentation; completing monthly general ledger, account analysis & P&L reviews; participation in the completion of the monthly forecast process and preparing monthly account reconciliations. Taking the lead in the preparation & completion of the annual budget process; preparation of accurate, timely & meaningful financial analysis related to headcount changes, forecasts & budgets. Providing financial information & assistance to senior management as requested. Assisting in the internal & external audit process as requested. Researching & recommending system & reporting improvements to increase group efficiency & accuracy.
Education: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance with 2 - 4 years of experience or Master degree with +1 – 3 years experience.
Previous Experience / Skills: Candidate must be versatile, organized and a self starter with the ability to multi-task. General accounting experience is required. Forecast & budget experience preferred. Familiarity with SOX compliance preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required. Knowledge of Hyperion, Word & Powerpoint preferred.
