Brief Description of Duties / Minimum Requirements: This position is located in Royersford, PA and relocation assistance is not available. Minimal travel is expected.
The successful candidate will provide the following:
- Control strategies containing continuous and batch elements based upon designs by more experienced engineers.
- Configuration implementation and testing services will be performed using control systems. This includes graphics design utilizing customer P&IDs, database management and configuration. Implementation and testing of sequential function charts and basic regulatory control strategies utilizing DeltaV.
- Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment to meet deadlines and resolve problems, must express ideas effectively in individual and group situations, must maintain effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities, and people, must assimilate and apply in a timely manner new job-related information that may vary in complexity, and must plan and organize work to ensure deadlines and estimates are met.
- Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Minimum Education Requirements
- Educational Degree(s): B. S. in Engineering or Computer Science plus 2 years of related work experience or MS in Engineering or Computer Science plus 1 year of related work experience.
Previous Experience / Skills:
- 0-2 years related experience in Process Control or Computer Programming is desirable
- For grade 4 2 to 4 years experience working in the Process Industry with automation experience desired.
