Brief Description of Duties / Minimum Requirements: This position is located in Philadelphia, PA or Fairfield, CA and relocation assistance is available. Approximately a minimum of 50% (mostly domestic) travel is expected dependent upon project assignments.
Candidates with a minimum 2 years plant operation experience particularly in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing and solid software development experience with MES software applications and process automation solutions are preferred. Candidates need to excel in a fast paced and dynamic project execution environment.

Job Duties:
- Support Consultants and Sales in the definition of MES strategic vision and presentation of this value message to client
- Be responsible for selected areas of the overall solution architect to define scope, sizing, system / operational requirements, integration requirements, project estimations and execution methodology.
- Define functional requirements through client interviews and documentation analysis
- Develop detailed designs and implement complex MES (Syncade) solutions that meet client requirements
- Leverage their software skills and experience to define client requirements
- Develop documentation required for validated facilities
- Work with an experienced software engineering team of software engineers to deliver Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using both custom developed software applications and configured products
- Work with clients and sales team to define business needs and demonstrate our product and services capabilities
- Have the ability to provide project execution leadership and mentor fellow project members
- Quickly learn new skills and technologies
- Work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations and sales
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 plus years of experience with requirements analysis, design definition and implementation of software solutions above the manufacturing floor (emphasis in biotech/pharmaceutical sites preferred)
- 1 plus years experience using a RDBMS (SQL, triggers, stored procedures) Microsoft SQL Server is preferred
- 2 plus year experience with plant floor / Manufacturing Execution System (MES) systems e.g. DMI Syncade, Rockwell ProPack Data, Werum PAS-X, POMSnet, Camstar. ERP experience, e.g. SAP a plus.
- 2 plus years of MES project execution experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Experience with creating and managing VMware virtual machines is preferred.
- Capable of handling multiple problems concurrently, prioritizing appropriately and keeping users informed.
- Experience with scripting technologies and with developing software tools to automate routine tasks
- Experience with software development using C#, C++, VB.Net Web Services, ASP/ASP.Net and XML. preferred
