The Docking Stool for diver assisted removal and
re-installation is used where a close interface between actuator and
valve is feasible. A close interface is preferable in order to minimize
dimensions, but in case high-stool and adapter stem is required
Dantorque offers this solution too.Unique
orientation of the valve and actuator is ensured by the master spline in
combination with a position dowel on the actuator bottom flange matching
only 1 hole on the adapter flange. The bumper nose provides initial
rough alignment during subsea installation, then the center hole in the
adapter flange starts guiding the bottom member on the actuator and
finally the position dowel kicks in.
Connection for flushing the stem cavity after
installation is provided in the adapter flange.
A close interface is normally preferable owing to
space savings, but in case high stool and adapter stem is required,
Dantorque offers this solution too. This is the Dantorque Mounting
Stool.
