Bettis France Manufacturing Facility Expands Emerson Process
Management's European Operations
The 20,000 square-foot Bettis France manufacturing and distribution facility
has been repositioned to add value to Emerson Process Management’s European
operations. The modern facility,
operational since 1994, will continue to manufacture its own
CAI line of linear actuators. In
addition, however, it will now become the valve automation center for oil and
gas products for Emerson’s Middle East and Africa sales effort.
The facility will stock actuators, mount applicable control systems, and
provides services such as shot-blast, painting, torque testing and hydraulic
flushing. The facility will
eventually employ 14 people. It is well suited for catering to large offshore
projects, supplying complete valve/actuator/controls packages and handling in-house
the documentation and testing. Sales
for the facility is managed by Joe Kelly, while Tony Church is overseeing the
operations.
