TorqPlus Series Valve Actuators
 

Introduction

Bettis’ TorqPlus electric valve actuators employ a unique modular design to allow for simple retrofits/upgrades using over two hundred different kits including heaters and thermostats, single or dual-potentiometers, servo controls, motor brakes, positioners and transmitters to name just a few. All actuator components can be added inside the NEMA 4 or NEMA 4 and 7 rated housings.

  • Guaranteed output torques from 140 lb-in to 10,000 lb-in (16 Nm to 1,130 Nm)
     
  • Female DIN/ISO available for direct valve mounting
     
  • CSA certified enclosures are offered in both a non-hazardous (type 4) and a combination non-hazardous plus hazardous (type 4 & 7) construction
     
  • Modular design allows an almost endless possibility of control options and field modifications
     
  • Operating speeds are available from 4 seconds to 60 seconds per 90° rotation
     
  • Operating temperatures range from -40°F to +140°F (-40°C to +60°C)
     
  • Compact design provides a maximum output torque in the smallest package
