R = Rotary Quarter-Turn (90°) Valves
L = Linear Rising Stem Type Valves
L-API = Linear API Valves

This indicates the type of supply that the actuators
require, where:
E = Electrical
P = Pneumatic
H = Hydraulic
HPG = High Pressure Pneumatic or Natural Gas
N2 = Nitrogen (all pneumatic actuators are suitable for
use with nitrogen)
None = No external supplies are required

(requires supply pressure to open and close the valve) or
spring-return (requires supply pressure to either open or
