Introduction |
|
The Bettis® Multiport Electronic Controller (MEC) is
a microprocessor-based system designed specifically to control and
monitor the status of the MPFS.
The MEC contains an absolute optical encoder
allowing the monitoring of the plug’s position to approximately
0.5°, retaining the memory of the position even without power. The
controller card micro-processor analyzes input from the encoder
and the host computer to accurately position the plug.
